Programming and Teaching Experience
Before becoming a writer, I was a programmer/analyst for five years, doing system analysis and design, coding, documentation, and training. I have also designed and taught classes on non-computer subjects, such as instrumental music (banjo and guitar) and making musical instruments. I attended Reed College in Portland and the University of Arizona in Tucson.
